Department of Search has created a channel that provides car dealers with SEO advice. We will provide Dealer Principals and Auto Dealer Internet Managers the much needed advice to create an effective SEO/SEM strategy. You’re not going to need a Computer Science degree, just some working knowledge of HTML, knowledge of your content management system, knowledge of the Internet, and some simple logic [simple is a relative term]. 

The amount of work it’s going to take to get your dealership’s website ranking isn’t going to be like building the Great Pyramids and it won’t take much if you have people (Department of Search) connecting the dots for you. Now if you have someone in your dealership who has a little computer experience, writing experience, and some common sense, you’re going to have the manpower to implement a solid SEO strategy.  If there isn’t anyone in your dealership, then go grab your kids because they know more about the internet than you do, and they work for cheap.

It’s been said 90% of all SEO information is located freely on the Internet (trust us, it is). Most of it is located on a few choice sites that provide general SEO information. The drawback of this information being located in a few choice sites is that it takes time to find what you’re looking for, recognize what you’re looking at, interpret the information, and then apply it to the “car dealer seo” world.
